Fresh from a dust bath the red soil gave this bull elephant a metallic rusty look. Elephants are all the same colour but take on the hues of the soils in their surroundings.

In Hwange this massive 30 year old was shaking the trees to get to the acacia pods for a fun treat. Acacia pods are an elephants equivalent to our chocolate.
